Welcome from the Executive Council

The British Academy represents a group of like minded individuals who pursue excellence in their practice of dentistry and counts among its members many of Britain’s leading lecturers, clinicians and technologists. Our objective is to involve all our members in spreading and promoting a practice philosophy of excellence. The Academy enjoys a level of camaraderie, wealth of knowledge, experience and a willingness to share this with others which I have not experienced in any other organisation.

Through the vision of our founding members, ‘The Academy’ has hosted annual scientific meetings since 1995, hosting internationally distinguished speakers from virtually every discipline of the dental profession to partake in this sharing of knowledge through education and friendship. The annual conference sets the standard in Britain and remains a scientific and social highlight. It is this sharing that makes the Academy very special and I welcome you to partake of and share the Academy ethos with us.
