History in Brief
The first Council meeting of BAAD took place on January 17th 1994. Present at this meeting were Dr David Kaplan and
Dr Lambert Fick. Sadly, Lambert has since passed away which is a great loss not only to ‘BAAD’ but also to the
international aesthetic movement.
Since its inception ‘The Academy’ has hosted annual scientific meetings, inviting internationally
renowned speakers from around the globe to present at the highest level. The seventeeth scientific meeting took place in January 2012 at Stoke Park, Stoke Poges, Bucks.
